Broom is often called “a window to Kimberly”, one of the parts of West Australia state. This really small town became famous due to the pearls obtained here, nice tropical climate and wonderful nature. Being founded nearly one age back, it attracted pearl seekers from all over the world, and soon became a multinational seaport, the capital of pearl trade. Visitors from Japan, Indonesia, Philippines and Malaysia joined the local divers and aborigines, and Chinese people were selling pearls. Broom is a bright national mix of nationalities, cultures and kitchens. The pearls obtained here are famous all over the world.

One of the best rest places in Broom is Cable Beach, spread up for 24 kilometers along the coast. Ideally white sand, warm waters of the Indian ocean and fantastically bright sunsets are worth to be seen by you.

If you are interested in history of Broom and you love nature, it will be very interesting to visit the Gantheaume Point, a place, where the footprints of an ancient dinosaur can be seen. Scientists think that they are nearly 130 million years. They can be viewed during the ebb. Non the less interesting thing will be watching many various kinds of birds, which fly to this coast every year.

In the other part of Broom, called Chinatown, you must visit Sun Pictures, the oldest active open-air cinema.

Climate. Broom is situated in the region with tropical climate and has two seasons, which are very different from each other. Rain season lasts from October to March and it is accompanied with strong tropical thundershowers and roast, moist air. Thunderstorms and hurricanes are frequent. From April to September lasts a dry, sunny weather with the middle temperature: 30 degrees.

Many tourists prefer to visit Broom during May – September period.
